School Meals
School meals are provided for our children by Kirklees School Meals Service.
Alternatively, children can bring a healthy packed lunch to school. We do kindly ask that you adhere to our Healthy Packed Lunch Policy and respect our nut-free plan for the safety of our children who have severe allergies.
• We serve a two-course meal at a set price.
• From September 2022 the price will be £2.40 each day, £12 per week.
• School meals are freshly prepared, on the school site, using high quality, locally sourced food.
If your child has a special dietary requirement or has an allergy to any food items, please consult with our office team who will liaise with the school's kitchen supervisor to ensure your child is catered for. Our daily menus cater for both vegetarians and Halal.
Kirklees Catering offer a selection of suggested themed lunches to all primary schools. Theme subjects are chosen around the curriculum and culture, such as the Chinese New Year and during these events a special menu is designed which is fun and encourages the children to try new foods not normally on the menu.
