Part Time Teacher Computing
3.5 Days per week (0.7 FTE)
Scale Point: MPS
We are seeking to recruit a fantastic Part Time Teacher of Computing from September 2018, although an earlier start could be considered for the right candidate.
As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in the delivery of both the KS1 and KS2 Computing curriculum. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to secure outstanding provision and will further develop Academy’s current enthusiasm for Computing. You should also demonstrate a commitment to becoming involved in extra-curricular activities linked to Computing and other teaching responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent teacher and team player. They will have a proven track record of building positive relationships with pupils, (this could also be at KS3/KS4 level), supporting them to make exceptional progress, be committed to developing their own teaching practice and share the Academy’s high expectations for pupils and colleagues.
- Play a fundamental role in shaping the direction and future of computing in school
- Be part of a highly successful network of schools both locally and nationally
- Be able to show a strong record of raising student attainment through your teaching
- Have the capacity to bring innovative ideas to the Academy
- Be willing to support with technical issues throughout Academy
