Adult Classes

Adult Learning

There are a variety of classes we host in our Eco-house run by external tutors who can support parents to improve their own knowledge of different subjects at an adult level. Classes such as English and Maths have been run in the past and a mental health and well-being one will start next week. For more information please see Aisha Bari.

Days and Times for all Adult class

From September we will be offering:

Monday afternoons: English – Functional Skills – Level 1 & 2 from Dewsbury College – 1 – 3pm

Tuesday afternoons: Maths – Functional Skills Level 1 & 2 from Dewsbury College – 1-3pm

Thursday afternoons: Talk English for beginners – 12.30 – 3pm starting 27th September.

English and Maths level 2 is a qualification you need to be able to get a job or go on to further education at any college. It is an equivalent to a G.C.S.E A-C. So if you your intentions are to do any of the above in the next two years now is the time to start these classes.

All courses are free if you are in receipt of benefits.

If you are interested in any of these courses please contact Aisha Barri at the school 01924 450289
